The Xi Sigma Chapter was chartered on January 28, 2006, on the campus of The George Washington University. 

Currently, Xi Sigma focuses its energy on community service and campus involvement. The March of Dimes Walk, volunteering with the Ronald McDonald House, and various Z-HOPE events that promote the principles of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. are just a few of the unique aspects that make this an outstanding chapter. After its chartering, Xi Sigma chapter received recognition in the GW Hatchet, GW-TV and won five awards, including the Silver Award for Office of Greek Life Chapter Excellence. Xi Sigma chapter plans to strive for excellence and exemplify the principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterly Love, and Finer Womanhood well into the future.
