Tamika Riddick, Second Vice President
As the Second Vice President for Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated Omicron Phi Zeta Chapter for Sorority, I am responsible for participating in and overseeing thirteen Z-HOPE™ committees. I also oversee all our national programmatic thrusts, community service, Chapter scholarship award(s), special observances such as Founder’s Day and Finer Womanhood, and various national/special program initiatives.
Along with my Second Vice President duties, I serve as a board
member on the Women of the Dove Foundation.
Initiatives & Programs
Adopt-A-School
Serve students and their families by volunteering time and making monetary and in-kinds donations to address the needs of the students and school administration.
American Cancer Society
Sponsor efforts to educate about and raise funding to eradicate various forms of cancer.
American Heart Association/Zetas Have Heart
Organize activities to improve physical and mental health to promote heart health.
Autism Acceptance
Organize and facilitate workshops to bring awareness to autism and made monetary and in-kind donations to organizations focused on he advancement o services for individuals diagnosed with autism.
Domestic Violence Initiative Program
Facilitate informative workshops on the impact of domestic violence. Provide resources and in-kind donations to survivors utilizing services at My Sister’s Place and The House of Ruth.
Elder Care
Provide emotional support, informational programs, and in-kind donations to senior residents on a monthly basis.
Get Engaged
Organize and facilitate forums to address systemic challenges such as but not limited to: homeownership, legislation, voter’s rights, women’s health
March of Dimes
Raise funds to increase awareness about and ways to prevent preterm births.
Mental Health/Zeta Sings the Blues
Organize and facilitate discussions and events aimed to remove the stigma of mental illness and to promote ways to improve mental wellness.
Military Appreciation Program
Organize drives and raise funds to support homeless veterans and highlight dedicated commitment of active and former service members.
PearlZ in the Wild/U.S. Fish & Wildlife
Promote activities and events geared to educate citizens about the importance of conservation and wildlife preservation.
Prematurity Awareness Program
Organize activities to inform church memberships and other organizations about the impact of premature births on families.
Scholarship
In partnership with the Women of the Dove Foundation, host fundraising events to support annual book scholarships.
ST. Jude
Host discussions about pediatric cancer and sickle cell anemia. Sponsor fundraising initiatives to advance St. Jude’s efforts to provide services to children and families.
Z-HOPE
Sponsor fundraising initiatives, service projects, and educational workshops for women, men, youth, seniors, and international community geared to advance the mind, body and spirit.
